Registration is now open for the 2013 Golden Gallop! Save money by registering online (no extra fees) before May 31.

All Golden area students are invited to enter our 2013 Golden Gallop T-shirt design contest! Entries are due by June 15, 2013 and the winner will receive a free t-shirt bearing their design, complimentary race entry and be featured in the Golden Gallop publicity. Additionally, the school with the highest percentage of entry participation will receive $250 for their school’s art department. Click here for more design guidelines.

“Howdy Folks! Welcome to Golden, where the west RUNS!”

On Sunday, October 6 Golden’s biggest annual race will explode into galloping motion for the eighth year running. Starting again beneath the City’s famous ‘Welcome’ arch, right in the center of historic downtown Golden, and finishing in leafy Parfet Park besides gushing Clear Creek, the Golden Gallop will lead its runners on 5k and 10k loops.
